Hello World

Hey there everyone, I’m Tim. 35 yr old (new) trucker. I’ve been driving total of 1 yr officially, not counting time in Fire Dept driving their vehicles. Began in small town i’m sure most of you NW’ers have driven through, called Ellensburg, WA. for an outfit driving a dump truck & Pup for the new Kittitas High School that was built in ‘05-06. Then on to a container transport company out of Eburg for a couple months, before my big break with JB Hunt Transport.

Lost job w/Good Ole JB cause of 1 shot of Insulin I needed in the Hospital in Hermiston, Or cause I got Food poisoning from the local Safeway store. that was November of ‘06 and did I mention that my family moved to this “town” cause of that job! yeah so we’re stuck here till our lease runs out at the end of September ‘07, then were’ SO OUT OF HERE!

Been working odd jobs, Call Center in Milton Free-water, Or and Mixer truck and Belly dump for WI Inc on the Goodnow Wind Project in Goldendale, WA till this last friday. Now going tomorrow to Troutedale, OR for orientation with Swift Transport. Yeah i have heard (and added to) the comments about Swift, but with the “reference’ from JB, I’m FUCKED, with any other company till I get some time in with another company. So I’m here for a bout a year or so depending on how things go with them, hopefully a break of niceness and goodness will come to our family, would be a nice change.

Not sure who or if anyone, if I”m going to give this blog out or keep it for my own thoughts, maybe to meet new (and fellow) truck drivers, so someone out there maybe can relate to my life and thought and add some assistance or reference to point me in the right direction…we’ll see how things go, kinda nice being a no one here and no one know who I am. maybe actually make a friend or two out here in teh good ole cyber world, since I won’t be home much wich really sucks ass but thats the industry I’ve chosen to go on…my son’s will be with me at least on the summer times and maybe after the babies grow up a bit Kathy will come w/me, who knows…doubt I’m that lucky.
