Since Rabbit is so anxious........
About a week ago or so a driver pulled in I walked up to the cab and asked his name and what I got was LOLA, L-O-L-A Lola..... OOPPPSS sorry was listening to the Kinks classic!!!! Anyway, a driver pulled in to get fuel as I was inputting the truck information in the computation device I asked for the drivers name and he told me COLUMBUS. I looked up at him and asked if his first name was Christopher. No was the reply. OK I thought, this is going to a fun fueling ritual. At the end of the task and signing of the fuel tickets I can now say I have a famous historical persons signature... I did ask him before he drove off if he was named after the explorer. "No" was the reply he was named after the city in Ohio!! OK draw your own conclusions from here!! After this meeting I asked my fellow fueling person if the next driver is going to be Magellan and I did comment that the night was only going to be strange at best.. One hour later the 25th truck pulled in, at this point I was getting a tad tired I asked this drivers name and he told me Andy Taylor. I shot him an evil look and was ready to throw the hand-held computation device at him then asked if his co-driver was Barney or Opie!!! I was told he gets that comment quite a bit and then showed me his drivers license and it did say Andrew Taylor but he was not from Mayberry!!! Needless to say I couldn't wait to clock out and go home!!! Oh did I forget to mention I had a chance meeting with Bart Simpson, Bill Clinton and OJ???? Till the next time and I didn't pass my DOT physical so the driving adventures have finally come to an end!!

How funny. I always feel bad when I meet someone with a certain name, and I make a comment about it. :hellno: What happened on the physical, Doc?

Well sir Rabbit the BLOOD PRESSURE was way too high and the BLOOD GLUCOSE level was way too low!!! The blood pressure issue can be corrected by meds and readjustment of diet however, the blood glucose problem is a bit more of a challenge so I considered the inevitable, the years of "Chasing the Horizon" have come to an end....

Doc... I hope things work out for you.
Please keep posting your stories ... I imagine you can find a great story in purchasing a burrito off a Roach Wagon at a Gun Show in Jackass Flats, Tejas. Besides... aren't you serving 10-20 here at CAD? You have to do at least a couple more years here right? I don't think they give an early kik here for good behavior.
