Anyway, let me hit a few highlights, or lowlights as the case may be.

Colt:Actually, it was a mistake and it's an easy one to make. I know, because I did it several years ago, not once, but twice when still learning the system. Hog felt terrible about it and apologized profusely when it happened. I laughed at him. In the end, it was a gaff, nothing more. It happens and the world continues to turn. Imagine that.

As far as you not seeing LBJ insulting anyone, you must read the internet in braile. :roll:

As far as Hog goes, he's doing just fine. His banning of LBJ was justified, particularly since the guy has ignored many, many warnings. Again, let me make it clear. CAD is a website dedicated to OTR trucking. CAD is a business that enables its employees to make a living via OTR trucking. An extremely high percentage of posters on this board are dedicated to OTR trucking.

That being said, if you are a local guy or an LTL guy, no one has a problem with that. But if you are going to spend all your time belittling and insulting the majority of posters on this board and thus, potentially negatively effect the company's (CAD) revenue stream, you're history. You can be a local guy and anti-OTR and have a spot on the board, simply by talking about the benefits of local vs OTR, without being a jackass to just about the entire posting base. This is not YOUR board to p!ss on as you please. This is a messageboard dedicated to OTR trucking, part of a website dedicated to OTR trucking. If anyone has a problem understanding this, let me know and I can provide you a link to a board where you can p!ss and moan about OTR trucking and insult OTR truckers all you want.

Now, as a final parting gift, let me make it perfectly clear that while we are generally pretty easy on the posters and let a lot go on, perhaps even too long at times, one thing that is not tolerated is publicly undermining the administration staff. This is straight from CAD HQ. The moderators on this board are tasked to help keep the board running smoothly. There will be times when a moderator makes a decision that you don't agree with. That's fine and if you want to make your displeasure known, do so in a PM to me or Ridge or another moderator. But if you think you can come out and publically disparage a moderator on what was obviously a "mistake", you won't be around much longer. That is a line that will not be tolerated. and it is absolutely non-negotiable. Period.

So, everyone move beyond this and get back to the important things, like why Obama is going to lose the election or why The Twilight Flyers are a fantasy football team that Tom Landry himself would be proud of or how come Rev has so much graphic-creation time on his hands.

No one is banned as a result of this thread, providing those warned (you know who you are), understand the importance of not undermining the board or those that are in charge of keeping it running smoothly.
