The thing is, the Manson version sucks. It's almost as bad as his version of AC/DC's "Highway to hell"

Without a doubt. Two of the crappiest cover songs I've ever heard, along with Cradle of Filth's cover of "Hallowed By thy Name" (Iron Maiden), the cover of "Altars of Sacrifice" (Slayer) by Hecate Enthroned, the cover of "Poison" (Alice Cooper) by Tarja Turnunen, most anything released on a Dwell Records compilation "tribute" album, etc, etc, etc.
Lindsay Lohan utterly failed when she tried to take on Stevie Nicks (covering "Edge of Seventeen"), but it was at least slightly bearable.

I can't believe you didn't include the Avril Lavigne version of Metallica's "Fuel".

Never heard it. Never want to. I'm not that crazy about Metallica, anyhow.. even less so about Avril Lavigne.

Okay... let's try this one..

That first day of summer I unveiled the secrets of Doom
and I walked with legion of Demons by my side.
My whole world fell into the void at his funeral room,
caressed by summer´s gentle breeze I cried

Hint: they're from my country of origin, but their fanbase is spread out through most of the world.
