Hi I am new,

You should repost your question in the New Driver section top of the first page for a better response. But a big welcome to the board

I just found this site, As a long time member of AR15.com, I really needed a place to waste the leftover time I was'nt wasting there  . Anyway afer lurking for a while I thought it seemed like a good place to join. I have been OTR for 12 years with System Transport out of Spokane, WA. as an O/O pulling a flat and now a step. I love my job and look forward to getting to know you all

Hrm, after 50+ posts, I guess I should introduce myself formally:

George, 34 (for another 32 dats). Wishing the judge would get off his butt and issue the final decree that should have been issued a month ago. Kid is 300 miles away with his egg donor. Used to do IT work. Then I taught driver's ed. Then I taught high school. Then I taught driver's ed again. Now I'm getting ready to go OTR. Get away from the house. Make some new memories.

Took my schooling on my own at the college where I teach driver's ed (and motorcycle safety). My instructors were actually my coworkers (which means they gave me more shit than the other students )

Hello to all. This being my first post here, I imagine the introduction thing might be the proper thing to do. I am a 30-plus year car hauler from the Bluegrass State... an independent owner/operator with my own authority since 1991. Portable parking lots are all I have ever done so I know diddly about other types of trucking. Travel is all over except the northwest and northeast above the GW and the upper midwest...point is the older I got the more I appreciate warmer climates. 8)

I found Class A Drivers via a link somewhere on Yahoo searching for some Cummins ISX idle speed information and after reading through a few of the Maintenance threads, I realized this particular section of the site (haven't checked out many of the other threads as of yet) contained some helpful info.

Thanks.

As you can see by my user name, I'm a daughter of a truck driver. My dad drove semi trucks for over 30 years. He drove locally, in Michigan and down into Ohio. I had always been proud of him, for I knew that is what he loved to do. He retired back in 1999, and sadly passed away in 2007. He's definitely missed...he was the best dad and grandpa to his 10 grandchildren.

I am 39 years old, I have 5 boys (Yes, I said 5!) ages 14, 12, 9, 8, and 4. I'm a SAHM (Stay at Home Mom), and I love my computer!! :P I enjoy playing online games. (MMORPG) I'm on my computer a little too much...but my kids are the most precious things in my life.

It's nice to be here...thanks for reading my intro. 8)
