I am back possibly for good because my husband just got hired by Maverick Transportation with his training starting on Sunday August 14, 2011. This will be good for us for a variety of reasons: (1) he will eventually be making better money, (2) he will be home every weekend without having to worry about being on call for ATM repair for 2 weeks out of every 4 weeks like he is with Arkansas Armored Car Service, (3) I will have to learn to be more independent and (4) he will not be able to let the 5 (maybe 4 depending on whether or not the new one that got neutered on August 9, 2011 and was let out by hubby at about 6 AM on August 10, 2011 decides to come back home once the hormones that were still running through his body wear off) cats go outside when he is not home.
Our 5 cats are Miss Kitty who is a female tabby colored Domestic Short Hair that we got in June 2006, Lieutenant Starbuck who is a male tabby colored Domestic Short Hair that we got around Halloween 2006, Vanessa T (she has a last initial to differentiate whether I am talking about the cat Vanessa or my granddaughter Vanessa (last initial I) who is a calico Domestic Short Hair, Smokey who is a gray and white Domestic Short Hair and Midnight Too (just gotten about May 21, 2011 and the one that is currently missing, his name came about because he is the second black cat we have obtained - Midnight the First died on July 1, 2010) who is a black Domestic Short Hair. We also have 7 fish, 1 algae eater and 6 black striped tetras 3 of which are short tails and 3 are long tails. P.S. How do I change my signature line?

Thank you so much, CleeIB. I am only used to changing my sig line in one other forum where I change that one every so often (basically, when I want to change to something whimsical for a while and then when I MUST because people have forgotten what gender I am LOL). I am a moderator in that forum, so I basically must know how to do basically everything that every "normal" member can do.

I was slightly wrong in my wording of what my husband was doing starting on Sunday, April 14, 2011. That was orientation - orientation with Maverick does not mean you are definitely hired just that you are about to go through the physical and that if you pass the physical, you are hired and start training immediately. He passed the physical today so he is definitely hired.

Today, I went out to the US postal mailbox and found that my husband has gotten the packet welcoming him to the Maverick family. This includes a photo of the students in his Orientation class - wouldn't you know, he is the only one with his mouth in a position where it looks like he is not at all happy (I know that his mouth is hurting because he has those cold sores that he has had recurrences of all his life but come on, he could have at least attempted a smile LOL).

He said "I was trying to make a face". I told "Well, you certainly did succeed in THAT!"
