So....
any guesses as to how high the fines would be for a stupid wreck like that? Do I hear $2,000? $2500? More?

I can see the following offenses.
Oversize load sign Flags I would have to say load securement, due to it being off center, and not seeing any chains or binders hanging anywhere. Probably no permit since he hit a bridge. Plus all the other wordy offenses. I'd say minimum $5,000 fine plus a revoked CDL (if he had one).

Let me see if I get this straight. That huge equipment was loaded on a flatbed/lowrider trailer. Well from the pictures it went half way thru the bridge. but pulling something that huge, you would only be going what 5-10miles an hour? so How would it be able to go thru the bridge, unless you where going insanely fast...Yeah that's just me thinking outloud..

Take a look here, and you will see what's actually heavy, and big. http://www.diamondheavyhaul.com/equipment.htm Make sure you look at all the trailer links and the pictures inside of them. That's what you call big. P.S. No, I don't haul heavy yet. Just have a big fascination with heavy hauling.
