Default 20 on and 10 off?

Hello All,

I'm a newbie wanting to get into trucking. I live on the east coast (20 miles outside of DC) but want to drive out west without relocating. Are there companies that will send me to the west coast from the east coast?
I read on another posting of a carrier that has drivers do 20 on and 10 off, but I can't remember who they are. Thanks in advance!

You should get with a company that runs produce from West coast to east. Go down to truckstop in Jessup MD and talk to some reefer drivers. Good Luck. Going East to West is easy. You will learn about going West to East.

CRST, at one time and may still, have/had something like that. (20/10)

What they did was have 3 drivers assigned to a truck and 1 driver would be off for 10 days and the other 2 would team drive the truck.

CSRT is still advertising that.

I spoke with a recruiter about this before and if my memory serves me correctly, two are out driving for 20 and one at home for 10. Then one of the two that were out goes home and the one that was at home gets on the truck and so on. All 3 drivers split the pay regardless if you are on the truck or at home.

In a nutshell, each driver will spend 40 days out and then 10 days home. I can not recall what the average mileage was per week.

Default SNI

SNI does this two, or did. They have 3 drivers that share 2 trucks. Do not remember all the particulars, but no teaming going on. Didn't Roehl advertise something for awhile also?
