You have 6 months OTR experience. Unless you are applying for a local job all recruiters are going to look at is the 6 months you have OTR.
You really need to hang tight for another 6 months. Once you get a year in you will see a lot more jobs open up, a lot bigger raise in pay when you do switch, and you will appear to be a more stable hire.

267 deadhead and 1983 loaded miles plus $90 stop pay. 267 + 1983= 2250 x .41CPM + $90= $1012.50 and I just left the house thursday morning.

i spoke to a crete recruiter and she said i had enough experience, riders can only be spouses, not girlfriends.even though we have been together for 6 years.we do not want to get married for several reasons so unless crete changes their policy or another crete recruiter can work some magic ,crete is out.

You might want to give Celadon a call. I make plenty of trips to Laredo. My average length of haul is about 1,000 miles and average about 3,000 miles per week. Girlfriends are no problem (I take my g/f with me) and they have a pet policy as well. I've been with Celadon for a couple months now and am very happy.

Average 3ooo miles at Celadon.
Hi, Malaki86. I saw your posting about the average miles at Celadon. Also noted that you are with them a few months now. I lOVED Celadon myself, till drivers warned me that they treat you SPECIAL the first 3 till 4 month. I didnt belive it, but after my first 3 months were up my average miles fell under 2000 a week. I left after trying to hold on with them after 1 year. Now that i pull reefer its about 25% better pay and I have GOOD miles, miss the great Celadon trucks i must say.
