Alcohol, alcohol, alcohol. Do I need to mention the truck stops with bars???!!
Tired of seeing people in trucking school orientation or at career day ask questions about DUI's, reckless driving, speeding tickets, etc. And let's not forget felonies, misdemeanors, etc. I'm beginning to think the whole world is irresponsible...

I've been a recruiter for over 3 years now. At first I was amazed at the number of drivers who would show up at orientation and fail their drug screen. Now, I suppose I am jaded, each week I just assume 1 out of 10 will fail this portion of orientation.
And yes, we do tell them they will be taking a drug screen on day 1. Even though I would assume most people would know it.

Its best that they commit their stupidity on "day one" than do it after they are solo or team. They probably don't realize it....but their future in this industry is very limited...in fact their future is probably rather limited even if they work at the BK Lounge...
