Let's see...2 speeding tickets, 1 moving violation for failing to obey traffic signals, an accident, you were caught(but not cited) with NO log book and you admitted you've blown past weigh stations.

Yeah, you are the poster child for safety.

ACTUALLY.... it was "Disregarding Traffic Signal", which was eventually dropped! The 2 speeding tickets were my fault, not denying it at all... and they were BOTH under 10 over! And in my defense, lack of knowledge is not a crime.... and definitely shouldn't be held against one..... right? So not having to use a logbook/scales for 5 1/2 years.... you get where I'm going with this..... So NO.... I'm not the poster child for safety.... but I do my best!

WRECKLESS??? WTF??? ME??? WOW!!! HAHAHA!!!

I guess one doesn't learn from mistakes??? I guess the "hands-on" approach isn't more in depth??? Hmm.... SO... MAYBE... since I've had a couple speeding tickets, maybe I should condone his negligence??? May be should say.... yeah, haha, to hell with it..... sleep two hours..... the worst you could do is hit and kill my wife and 2 of my 3 children on their way to school??? Yeah, OR.... I could take the RIGHT approach, take his, yours, and my experience.... add it up.... and come up with a knowledable and helpful yet stern piece of pie.... :?:

How does gathering information and knowledge about the topic lead you to a crisis??? I would elaborate on this more and go the extra mile to understand you, but I'm pretty exhausted and sleepy. SO... I could say to hell with it.... OR... I could lay it down! I think I'll lay it down.. 8)

Ignorance of the law is never an acceptable excuse in the court of law and is usually worded as such in any state's penal or criminal code.

In the case of law, lack of knowledge is not an excuse, driving a rig you are responsible to make sure you know the laws, to know what you are supposed to do, and what you are not to do.

Let's be realistic here guys... We have ALL broken laws and rules, it's just a matter of getting caught or not. Not say we do it constantly but theres not one person on here that can say that they haven't done anything illegal in a CMV
