America/Rock group from the 70s......FUN Bill Monroe/ Bluegrass Colin Ray/ Country Alicen Krouse/ Bluegrass Leroy Parnel/ Country Aretha Franklin/ R&B "Respect" yea that one. THe list is long and the stories would fill a book I promise. This is just a few that brought on the biggest headaches is why they came to the front of my brain LOL!!! The best stories came from the first buss I got. it was a 1965 model 05 eagel 45 footer with a model 10 cap upgrade. It had an unrestricted 318 detroit with a 9sdp fuller tranny. the tranny came out of a truck used and was not modified....just hung on the back of the motor. this means it shifts backwards LOL!!!! yes first gear is over by the passenger door and you shift back twards your self. pull the two spd button and start back at the door working twards your self again. Now these things come with a 4 spd to start with so the shift points are all off. By the time you had it up in 8th gear it was running around 77 mph on the floor. but this is not fast enough when your trying to cover 700 800 miles a night so you had to through it on up into 9th, "the tall one" LOL!!!!! In 9th it would bury the odometer and you had no idea how fast you were running but if you let it slip down below 1800/1900 rpms it would over heat so it was on the floor anytime in was in the tall slot. best we could figure it was running around 95 to 105 just guessing. it would bust a cattle cars ass in a minute. Bye Bye LOL!!!!! Most of the passengers loved it. Give me a little while and I'll come up with some more that you will like Im sure. Miloh.

As far as the physical, why don't you go to an occupational medicine clinic and see if you pass a DOT physical. They don't cast that much and could be a quick indicator for expending any more resources getting back in the game. BOL

School
Hey all:
I just talked to TN, Tech. A Local Technical school and they have a 7 week course that cost around $1400 total. This includes drug screen, Physical, tuition. the Works. Any reason not to consider this school or questions I should ask them? they do job placement but I don't know who with yet. I went to the employment security office today and they have access to federal money for asistance in education. I go back on the 2nd of next month for a group meeting to fill out the paperwork. Being that this is a federal program I'd thing it's available in any state. they have taken plenty of my hard earned money over the years I may as well get some of it back. Don't know any more about it than this so far but the lady I talked to said if I was unemployed or under employed I would qualify. Miloh. |
