Doing a "good job"....

Now, on the west side of the "Choochoo", they'll re-post the speed limit for trucks at 40, or 35. He had time to straighten out after the curve. Must have tried to dodge something...
Been through there many, many times. I remember when the speed limit was the same for trucks and cars. And, no snow. But, how about ice?

it was yesterday ( sat) a beautiful

It is level and no sharp turns where he wrecked. There were some really unhappy people sitting on the roadway. That happened around Moccasin Bend on I-24.

there is a big curve there, that's why it's called moccasin "bend" the officer stated that the driver was trying to negotiate the curve and lost control

From the picture it looked as though it happened before he got to the curve. In any case, unless he fell asleep he had to be really flying to have crossed the median through the steel barrier and land on his side, even if it did happen in the curve. It is called Moccasin bend because it is shaped like a moccasin.

Have to wonder if that is what happened there. Driver #1 is in the left lane, making time. Driver #2 swings out to pass driver #3 while the steers of #1 are alongside his trailer, and #1 is forced to hit the brakes hard. The article doesn't say that's what happened, but I've seen it more times than I'd care to count. Driver #2 doesn't check his mirrors before changing lanes.

from just before where I-59 comes in on into Chattanooga, it is a series of curves, the witnesses said he was just going too fast, he should thank God he didnt kill anyone, the west bounders must have been on their toes that day

That's just it. The "BAD" curve is the one he didn't get to. The ones before that are not nearly as bad as the one in the picture, when you're going eastbound. He had to be really flying to lose it because of speed. I know what the posted speed limit is from the point where you cross back out of GA into TN, and I've seen more than one truck take them all at 70 or better, without a problem. The one he didn't get to has been taken at 65, but it's the one you need to slow down for, if you're going to slow down for any of them. Until you get to the one going to the right further east, into town. And, I've been passed on that one when I was doing 55. No one lost it. There had to be another factor we have not heard about.
