Default Don't do this...

Just talked to one of my friends @ gordon who told me his truck (he own's it) was keyed along the side last night up at polard flats on 5. It's a truckstop and he parked there for the night with his truck running so he could use the big inverter and some other junk. He got a knock on his window about 10 minutes after a guy in another oregon based carrier's truck and asked if my friend was going to idle all night and he said that he would only be duing it for a couple hours then off to bed. About 45 minutes later the other driver took off. My friend get's out to "strectch" before going to bed and found that the side of his truck had "A$$hole" keyed in the side of his sleeper paint.

Some guys get WAY to worked up out here on the road!!!

Chris

What a dick!
He picked the wrong profession for a good nights sleep.
Idling trucks dont bother me, I personally dont sleep well when my own truck is idling, though.
Guess I'll go key it!

Idling doesn't bother me either. I'm usually so exhausted...I'm sleeping soon as my head hits the pillow.

There are noises that get to me though. If someone has an air leak...and their compressor pumps every minute, and you hear the relief valve do it's spew ....that is like water dripping to me. Or if someone has a loose part and it makes a rattling sound....Gaaaaaaaaaaaaa :?

...but that is when I pop in some ear plugs and my night is saved.

Anyway...this was in California???  ...nuf said. :P

BAck in the olden days (2 weks ago) when I pulled for CR England I let the reefer recharge the batteries all night.

To save my fellow truckers any greif I would "nose in" when I parked.
