I had a post up on expunging traffic tickets, but I need to look into this further, before I post any advice or opinions.
I know how it works on criminal cases, but not traffic violations. >>>browsing>>>

What I found is, basically this. Time to deal with your ticket is when you are before the Judge, and Prosecutor. After that, the disposition of your ticket is done. You can in some cases get one ticket expunged, but that's it. If you have more than one ticket, you are not likely to get any expunge privileges.
Pretty much the same as with all the criminal convictions. First time offenders can usually get some slack, but not repeat offenders. Also, some offenses are just not considered, period.

Some speeding tickets can be reduced to equipment violations, if you are savvy at the time you are in Court, but if you don't fight that ticket, before the gavel drops, your negotiations are over. Again, if you are talking about one ticket, you can get some success, but if you have more than one ticket, I doubt you will get far. Time to see what your eligibility is, and whether you qualify for expungement is also at the time you are in Court.
You will have to speak to a Lawyer now.

I took the time to look at your priors... :roflyour older posts)
You didn't give much info in this thread.
You need to wait this out. Your age, and seriousness of traffic violations, and the fact you are talking about more than one in a short period, has you stuck in the mud. You got a lot of good advice already. No amount of questions will change anything. Go work in that Steel Mill, and sally forth obeying all traffic laws. :block:

Sounds like he's a pretty good poet, and might not even know it.

I recall speaking with a guy a few years ago who told me that in his state you could get an expungement if you had been arrested and either found not guilty or the charges were dismissed. I don't remember if your record could be expunged if you were found guilty or plead guilty to the charge. Each state will handle this type of thing differently. I am sure the severity of the charges also come into play.

In cases like that only law enforcement would have easy access to your arrest record. General freight haulers usually could care less about what you have been arrested for, only what you have been convicted of.

I think you are right about carriers mostly interested in convictions. I think if anyone has been found not guilty their records should automatically be expunged or sealed where no one could access it including law enforcement. There are some companies that would steer away from anyone who had been arrested even if found not guilty.

How bout this Blake. Just forget about truck driving. We don't need a driver like you out on the road putting lives at risk with your reckless driving habits.
