Frustrated waiting

Default Frustrated waiting

Back in september i was laid off and put in many applications. I was told I was approved for hire by one company but I am still waiting to get word of when i get to start. WHAT SHOULD I DO??

sit around and wait..but be sure to complain alot, then you are sure to be prepared to be a truck driver...when they call you.

Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Call. Email. Call again. Email again. Then just to change it up, email, THEN call.

then again, the Squeaky wheel sometimes just gets replaced with a new wheel that dont squeak.

I have emailed and called over and over, but get same answer every time" when we can hire drivers again we will let you know".

You may want to send out more apps post haste. If you wait too much longer and the one company falls through or doesn't come thru for you, the time spent unemployed could work against you with all the other companies. It won't hurt to circulate 2 or 3 or 4 more apps and then till the company you're waiting on that you have other offers and if they can't hire you at this time would they be willing to hire you at some later date when freight picks up. Just a thought
