Besides what has all ready been mentioned. Acouple gallons drinking water, a box with canned food and an opener, if you can afford it get a mattress heater, (they have them at truck. stops. )Foul weather gear from snow boots on up to your head.A 5 gallon bucket and garbage bag's you will figure it out, when the time comes. a variety of clothes. I all ways had a couple gallons of Clorox bleach and a few bags of kitty litter. :shock:

if you really want to save space on a can opener get a military p-38 can opener



they are great and last forever, and fast once you get the hang of em. i can open a can faster then the turn handle ones.

store stuff in it that needs to stay dry like TP. or you can make it your first aid kit 8)
