Default Gap in employment for school

With all the recent talk of a gap in employment, I have a question.

If I quit my current job (which I have had for 3 3/4 years) to go to CDL school for 7 weeks, will that count against me?

It shouldn't. Just make sure the school you choose is approved by the company or companies you are considering working for or you may waste your money.

Attending school counts as being employed.

It is. It's HCC down here in Houston. I wouldn't think 7 weeks off for school would matter but I figure it's better to ask.

Thanks for the response.

7 weeks probably wouldn't matter that much even if you weren't in school.

As long as it is under 90 days it shouldn't be a problem.
