Bigbird...maybe your company is looking at it as they have "given" you Fri night-Sat day-Sat night-Sun day and that equals 2 "days at home.
If you had put a different spin on it and told them that Fri night was actually still on the company time cause it was the 10 hr mandated rest portion of your full 11 hr driving period that day and that YOUR home time really only started after that period was up which was Sat morning. Then that gives you thru AND INCLUDING Sun night as your two days OFF WORK at home. I doubt they start your company time on the first day back after home time with a 10 hour break so that last 10 hr break should still be "company time" and not "home time". See what they say to that. (worth a try at least). |
