My trainer & I also encountered wind this last week on I-80, going through Nebraska, heading tward Denver.
It must have been a storm front; just all at once, the wind began gusting. This was the first time I ever expirenced this, and it was scary. I couldn't go any faster than 45mph, and it felt like I was going to blow off the road, a couple of times. I myself was wondering what you do in a situation like this? pronghornracer

Good post and I always wondered about this myself. I was driving out of luling, la just before hurricane rita last year and while crossing the bridge, that wind was blowing me all over, cross winds and I was empty. They never covered this in school and I think, after my experience with it, its very important.

I don't remember this subject being covered in school either. pronghornracer |
