What is even more pathetic is that instead of reaching out to others and saying "This is what I built out of a driving career, and maybe you can do it too!!" his attitude is, as you said, "I'm better than any of you!!" This guy Alonso isn't asking for anything to be handed to him on a silver platter; he's just wanting to try to build a new life for himself, and contribute towards supporting his family. It's strange how the same people who bitch about crime, the cost of incarcerating a prisoner, and recidivism seem so adamant about shutting doors of opportunities to ex-convicts. I've had a few ex-cons working for me, and yes, there have been some failures, yet, there have also been some successes. Even though I feel proud to have played a part in helping, the real credit goes to them, and of course, to The Highest Power, The Lord.

OTR drivers makes .26-.44 cpm. LTL linehaul drivers make .44 - .55 cpm with much better hometime. 6) Eliminate government subsidizing of company-sponsored training Wal-Mart drivers get most of the above items and their turnover rates is at around 5%. As a result, they can be very selective in who they hire. While I agree with you that people should get a second chance in life, I don't agree that any kid-touchers, multiple DUI's, convicted murders, drug dealers, etc should be allowed to get a CDL.

They must have had proof, if it was just her word against his then he had a bad lawyer.

Spell check wouldn't catch that error ,as it is correctly spelled . and what a BUGGY is without a HORSE is ...USELESS .

The question of WHAT EXACTLY WAS IT THAT YOU DID OR WERE ALLEGED TO DO that got you charged with the crime in the first place has not been answered .

I can understand you coming to this forum with your questions thread starter but as you can see there are a wide range of responses for and against you.
You should simply write a letter stating your situation and go to your local library or post office and mail/fax a letter out to a couple dozen trucking companies and somebody may be able to help you. I think you will get more usefull solutions by speaking to companies directly rather than coming to this forum where many are simply going to offer you nothing but negative feedback.

He still has not stated what he did that got him charged and eventually convicted as a felony sex offender . Yes if a child molester or a violent rapist were to come on here asking for a second chance I would not offer up any helpful advice ,as I believe this type of criminal belongs on a permanent leash ,as they are never really ...WELL . |
