My girlfriend is an RN and make 30.70/hr and has the best benefits you could ask for. Works three 12hr days. She has it made.

Dude I'm with you there on working dead-end construction. I'm the only CDL'ed driver for my company so they keep me working thankfully. You could always get your B at worst and drive a dump truck. Some of the asphalt companies around me pay their drivers pretty decent and they have some darn nice trucks. I'm bringing in $17.50 an hour here with my Class A running a dump, sometimes pulling a tilt deck flatbed behind me. No OT allowed but I do get my 40 hours a week. Easy money for me.

wow big change there lol. but i agree with mr ford you can make decent money driving dump trucks! and you get paid to sit to and usaly they have some nice petes to. there was jobs in ca for 17-25 an hr driving dump trucks!! but if you want to go otr then research every company as most of em in so many words will tell you not to forget the lube as they will screw you!! they all tell you how great trucking is and you'll always get 3000 miles a week bs. a recruiter is nothing but a used car sales person they don't make a commision they get fired!! never lease the truck from the co you work for. good luck

My buddy is driving a dump truck and tag trailer making 24/hr. He is leaveing to go to union job just driving a dump truck for the same money. His boss offered him 2/hr more to stay. He still turn it down. For 26/hr i think i would have stayed. Plus the OT after 40hrs.

But there are a ton of dump truck jobs near me for 17-19/hr.
