I'm At Crete's Orientation
On 1/26/07 I graduated from Houston Community Collage's Driver Training. Today I'm in Dallas at Crete's Wilmer terminal. I did all my paperwork/physical/drug/road test today. My trainer is supposed to arrive sometime Wednesday - so Tuesday is spend sitting around the hotel, tho I may go out to the terminal just to have someone to talk with. I'm excited and scared at the same time. I feel almost like when I enlisted in the Army 20 yrs ago.
Thanks to all the members of this board who have answered questions and have taken to time to post they're wisdom for the benifit of others. THANKS!!!

Good luck , I know how you feel, excited, and nervous, but once your out there all that goes away. Just get through it and enjoy the ride. Also ask questions, alot of questions. Good Luck to ya, and drive safe.

Best of luck to you, Tim. I know exactly how you feel. I'm about a week behind you in getting started with IDC. Excited and anxious kind of sums it up!
You'll be fine! |Just keep telling yourself that until you believe it!

I hope your Crete trainer turns out much better than mine. I am six weeks into my training. Sadly, other than backing setups and paperwork my trainer has absolutely nothing to offer unless bad driving habits and how to make more money by being a trainer count. Nonetheless best of luck to you.

Good luck to you BuddhaTim! it's natural and probably a little healthy to be nervous, but it will pass. just do your best and know that every mile driven is more experience under your belt.
FWIW Crete seems like a company you can actually grow with, I hope you have a good career with them. |
