I know the feeling. My only encounter with a laser on the road was when a local cop hit me right in the eyes with his LADAR while I was driving my car home from a late night job. Blinded me pretty good for several seconds and actually caused pain in my eyes. I didn't realize until then how dangerous lasers are when used improperly. It gave me an important clue as to how far the police can be trusted though, I'll never forget that.

. . some nut was going on about the OPEC conspiracy to get white Americans out of there cars and into mass transit where they could be suicide bombed more efficiently. There wouldn't be sufficient outrage if only poor, off white folks were being killed, apparently. That said; sure, we're vulnerable. Anything could happen. If there are terrorists reading this thread, I'm on my way to do a reset in a Tucson casino. Kindly direct your anger elsewhere, thank you.

You can now buy a can of *(&^$&#*((&%. This is product is available online at www.#**%#%^$#$.com. It cost $29.95 a can, and can be shipped to your home. And using it is really easy. Spray it on your windshield, let it sit for 10 minutes, then wipe it off. Your windshield will have a light pink tint, but will protect you from any form of laser attack. Good luck.

Yeah, you make jokes about the laser pointers, but have you ever read the warning that if pointed at someone's eyes, you can burn permanent blind spots into the retina? Reading what everybody has to say, I'm willing to bet that back in "00, you would have had about the same thing to say about the WTC.
