Uglymutt, perhaps he figured his drivers were capable of earning a living whereas those to whom he gave money were in such a difficult circumstance that they could not function or work.

Crete_drvr, I don't think any company can grow exponentially, such as J.B. Hunt, without treating their employees well. I have spoken to some of their drivers who have been with them for a number of years and the earn a good living and seem to be treated well. Employees don't stay with an employer for more than a decade just for money. Unless there are other benefits and they are treated fairly, they won't stay.
