Default L E G A L drugs to take??

Do any of you vets know of any legal anti-depressant medicine you can take while driving??

Do all of them affect your driving, by making you sleepy?

Do they all make you fail a drug test??

Thanks

No, but if you are currently using them you have to list them on your physical and than lead to a possible disqualification unless otherwise stated by DOT

Look in your local phone book....call a couple of "Doc in the boxes", (Walk in clinics) or a local trucking company....find out who is a DOT Certified physician to give the DOT Physical. Tell the Doctor what you are taking and ask if it is a "disqualifier". Most anti-depressants will not show up on a drug test...because the tests don't include them. However....some companies have some of the drugs listed on "lists" that show them as disqualifiers. The company rule is the one to worry about.
