Lookin for comments on offers
I have investigated offers from Swift, Schneider and Greyhound Lines. Greyhound offers Class A CDL training with no hitches, no cost, no pay back we put you through training and then are assigned the "extra board" at $16.80 per hour when driving. Anyone have comments on these options??

re
guess it depends on what you want to haul and how good the opportunity is. I am curious on your choice of greyhound... i understand the hourly part ... what was the other part you said?
then you also have to look at what you want to haul..... freight.... or loud, obnoxious, smelly people....

What I am looking at is the commitment to the trucking outfits for 12 to 18 months or being required to pay them $$$ if I leave sooner. Also some of the comments about the schools and trainers leave a thought in my mind that the first year at Swift or Schneider could be the same as spending time in hell, no take that back that would be E.R. England. The Greyhound route seems good as there is no commitment for service after the training.
