no such thing as 100% acceptance in this industry. Also no such thing as "guaranteed" in this industry.
Let me translate what the recruiter said what what that really means. He told me he faxed all my info to USA Truck and he guarantees me 100% acceptance at USA Truck. Translation: I can get you a spot in orientation. Whether you make it though or not isnt up to me.

Email from Driver Solutions recruiter: Yes, I have you pre-approved with USA. The only thing to keep you from the job offer is failing your drug screen or physical, or not completing the class. They pulled a 20/20 background check on you. They knew about the charges with the minor and the hit and run. I faxed everything to them.
CRE initially turned me down, but changed their minds today. SO I guess I am going to a local school to train for CRE.

In reality "pre-hire" just means you have been approved to fill out an application. They havent even ran your MVR yet...nor has the investigations dept of that company looked at anything of yours yet.
Personally, I dont think its the charge with the minor thats hurting you....its the hit and run. Im not trying to burst your bubble or anything...you just have to understand that in this industry you arent going to be 100% sure you have the job until you are driving that truck out of the parking lot.

Yeah, it sounds bad. But all I did was skid out of control and stopped when I hit a lowboy trailer. The only damage was done to my car, and I "ran" when I left to get help as it was winter, and noone was around.
There was no property damage, and no injuries. It was more like a "hit" and no run.

Basically it is contributing to the delinquency of a minor, but termed different in KY. All the other companies seem to be OK. I did email the other companies and let them know about everything I had since I got a criminal record check back. Had 2 misdemeanors in Ohio. Both dismissed. But they should know that already since they pulled a report from USIS...right? I just wanted to make sure all bases are covered so I don't get sent home from orientation. When he got to orientation, he started bragging about how he got into orientation with that on his record and I never caught it. Well he ended up bragging aloud in class. When word got to me, I sent him home. I dont put up with liars, and I don't hire people with aggravated charges. If he would have been honest with me, he could have saved us both alot of time.

What does CR England say? You need to ask the potential employer these questions as they and only they can give you the information that is factual.

Hey
I have talked with a few CRE drivers and they told me that I probably would make it driving with CRE cause there is a guy right now that has started driving for CRE and he done 16 years behind bars and has felonies on his background and they still hired him on and I have have misdemeanors on my background they all said that they only go back 7 years of your background and everything pass 7 years as long as you didn't get into any more trouble that I would be ok to get hired on at CRE
