On a MUCH MUCH lighter note.
I'm a diabetic on oral meds and I noticed one thing. Bu let me give you the back story 1st.
I was diagnosed with diabetes about 6 years ago when I was 38. I took a 3 year sabbatical and went back to work a few months ago for Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, just for something to do. Well, the exercise dropped my blood sugar to the point where I no longer take insulin. (I wash and deliver cars.) My question is this: Since I DO NOT want to go back to insulin, will my trainer mind if I insist on scrubbing the outside of the truck, top to bottom, front and back every other day? (I'm serious about the exercise and doing this, however; I am presenting this question in a dry humor sort of way.)

Drive reefer, lumper your own loads, park in the back of the lot and walk more, ( 2-3 miles per day) sweep your trailer out after every load, and do a complete pretrip everyday before you log miles (cleaning your glass and lights)....and you'll be doing just fine.
When you have any home time, go hunting or fishing, and/or become a Volunteer Firefighter. I see some guys polish their aluminum too. That is always nice to see.

Sounds like the ticket - thanks for your suggestion. Looks like Swift is gonna have a least 1 shiny truck. [quote]When you have any home time, go hunting or fishing, and/or become a Volunteer Firefighter. [quote] I'd rather be riding my VTX 1800

I even entertained this one in my head too. :P What is a VTX 1800? is that some sort of MT.Bike ? I hear you about polishing aluminum. I have yet to "stoop" to that myself. But sure is nice to see a rig with polished wheels. 8)
