The hijacking continues.
Yeah I really like 'em. But hey, what do I know?

It's the industry standard, 1 day off for six out. Who do you drive for?? I'm too lazy to do a post search right now

Thanks to all who posted on topic. I am in no way trying to "take business away" from this site, which is what the term "competition" implied. I was just trying to find other good sites and avoid the bad ones. In such cases, recommendations from those with experience is always the best way to go about it, rather than blindly searching. Much like getting a job in the trucking industry.

The problem with most of the trucking sites is that they aren't necesarily Pro Trucker... kind of like the ATA.
There are a lot of ads I've seen for companies that I consider "bad" companies. That's just my opinion- but it makes me think poorly of them. Sort of like when the Truckin' Bozo does an ad for Prime talking about all that Prime has done for truckers. Yeah- like sent them to the debt collectors... This is a pretty good forum here. Some of the others have a lot of goody-goody types. They all sit around and hold hands and talk about how compliant they are...

As far as "trucking forums" go.... from my experience, CAD (this one) is about the best for generic information...as in broad spectrum information. Lots of good and well informed people here and many with a significant level of experience who are willing to share their knowledge.
As far as "specialized" forums go.... there is http://www.cfidrivers.com for people interested in CFI and CFI's Drivers, and there is "pumpkindriver.com" for Schneider drivers and those interested. These two sites are policed as heavily if not more than CAD....so there is no nonsense on them. In my opinion....truck.net had become the "safe-haven" of many undesirables, and trucking haters and bashers, etc...... Not much point of going there... I think they have tried to finally clean some of it up, but I think it may have gone past the point of no return..... So, me, I tend to limit my activities to CAD and cfidrivers.com.
