I was recently arrested for ovi, the charges were dropped to a no point non moving violation. However my license was suspended will this be a problem? Also how do I explain it.

If it was recent you are probably out of luck. Most companies will want several years since the conviction/suspension.

There is always more to the story.
Was he intoxicated when he was arrested? Did he get a good lawyer to get him off the charges? Why was his license suspended? Because the do that when you been drinking and driving. It is kinda like getting a ticket for speeding. You go to court or hire a lawyer to get the ticket reduced so it will not go on your record. The bottom line is, you were still speeding.

I was recently arrested for omvi and my license was suspended immediately. I am still in court right now but my lawyer is confident that the charges will be reduced, so the suspension might come off if it gets reduced. I am not sure. It was suspended for 3 months for failed breath test. If I refused it would be suspended for a year.

So as it stands right now, you are still in court and unsure of what the outcome will be. You might want to wait and see what happens before asking if you'll be able to get hired, it's going to make a difference.
