Perhaps it should be the other way around.

Yer right. You'd have to keep the incentive high.
No one wants to deliberately run over a skunk. :block:

You look silly wearing knee pads and lipstick when you try to act tough like that. :hellno:

Thank you all for all the info
I just want to say that EVERYONE has been so nice and helpful. I have been working for this company right outside of Houston, Tx for a about 2 years and since the accident rate has gone up this year they have put me in charge of rewriting the hiring work book for the company the only freaken problem is they did not have much of one to begin with, they want me to put like a hire packet together for new drivers. Now, you are right to say that I don't have any training but this company will be sending me to get certified with in the next the next few months but in the mean time they have given me less then 3 weeks to come up with a new hire program so that they can better screan new drivers. Like I have said, when I got hired and all other drivers that have been hired after me did not even go for a driving test. This company just took these driver's word on their capablities and this company cannot understand why they are having more and more wrecks.
Like I said they will be sending me to get certified with in the next few months or so but in the mean time they want something on papers that I can take infront of the owner and the board.. I will check everything that you all have suggested and I will let you know what I come up with. If I get everything done and I get certified I will be the first and only certified anything that this company has ever had when it involves anythig with D.O.T. You all have a great and blessed day Thanks Coll :hellno::eek2::tears::thumbsup:

She said that she was from North Africa but didn't mention the country where she was born. Most people are treated with respect on this board unless they demonstrate that they are jerking us around or come on here with an attitude. You are so cynical, geargrinder.

I thought I did say where in North Africa I was from but I guess I did not. I was born in Malta which is now part of Europe. Hey, Geargrinder I do not believe that I ever said anything about Nigeria. So I guess since you saw that I was from Africa you just assumed that I was from Nigeria. You know that assumption sure is a fine line. Geargrinder, just by looking at me no one could tell that I am from North Africa. I am a 6'1" white woman with hazel eyes and light brown hair and for your information I do not wear skirts. But geargrinder I don't have to explain anything to anyone that is racist or sexist.
Hey Repete, thank you for the warm and kind words. HAPPY NEW YEAR :c ool:

Don't pay any attention to Geargrinder, FEMALETANKERYANKER. I think you will find most people on this forum to be courteous and helpful. People are welcome on this forum no matter where they come from or their background. We have members from many other parts of the world. I recall another poster who was from Africa. I believe he was from Kenya. He lived in the U.S. for a while and moved back to his home and became an owner operator. I receive a note from him every now and then.
