Sounds almost identical to my life. my tours were as follows... spent several tours taking loads from Alabama to the nortwest. spent time in MI,IL, IN, OH, I was in toledo in the bllizard of 05' though to me, it was just another day. Then I had to do a tour of the west, TX, AZ,NM, E.T.C. did overnight missions thru the backroads to avoid the scales, covert operations doing blind loads, & heavy hauls. had tough fights with some c.b. rambo's, slept in enemy territory, (gary IN,)
my credentials are top shelf... I have high security clearance at the flying J buffet, I get v.p status at most places I stop, including to but not limited to, free, coffee, shower, & a place to park. So I guess we have a lot in common. Hey hope ya dont mind the humor.. just trying to break the monotony out here.. welcome aboard, & best of luck, That was Great!!! vr, b6

Welcome aboard shipmate
Oh, and if it's at all possible, I would recommend you get your CDL through a community college, independent school, etc......just avoid the companies that offer training if possible. Last edited by devildice; 12-21-2008 at 08:38 PM.

should I go through RoadMasters or National Truck Driving Check FCCJ Kent Campus (Cecil Commerce Center) for training, cheaper and better than the commercial schools you mentioned. BOL PS - CWO3, USN, (Ret) AEMO on Forrestal, EWCS b4 |
