here is a serious question.

.

I have a felony conviction 21 years ago, served 8 years home 13. Been employed since 8 days out. Have worked for IBM and teacher at a business school and currently assistnat phlebotomy supervisor for a major diagnostic firm. Moving and with the felony going to have to relive that soon. Looking into trucking. Have money to pay for school but am leaning towards a program with recruiters to help find me that first company. From their i think i will be ok. Can someone please give me some guidence as to where i might have some success.

Depending on what the conviction is for there are companies that will be willing to work with you. Swift is one that I know of for certain( or at least they used to), and I think Central Refidgerated is another.

Your best bet is to talk to various companies that hire students and find out who is willing to work with you before paying out anything for training.

Try using the job search function here on CAD and look at the hiring requirements for the companies that come up. It will give you a place to start.

Just my opinion but I think this is a bogus post, he's trolling, messing with us etc. Just like the CBers in the truckstops, Hes looking for a rise.

Looking at is profile he gives no information about his location and a user name, urabus??? (you are a bus). Hes not for real.

Stupid questions people ask:

Why can't I get hired? Oh by the way I murdered someone in the past.
