Ok - I'm OFFICIALLY eating the WORST chinese take-out food in history. This stuff has absolutely no taste whatsoever. There's probably more flavor in the plastic fork itself than in the food. Who's ever heard of General Tso's Chicken being flavorless?

Took 2 hrs to hook and pretrip in the yard.
Had about 16 inches of snow on the trailer.
Made it to RI for delivery tomorow.
Not too bad up here.

Default Sitting since Wednesday with Oversize

I have an oversize load going to Baltimore. Was originally scheduled to deliver on Wed 10 Feb, but I can't get a permit for Maryland. I stopped in Claysville, PA on Wednesday at 2pm and not moved since. I am now 285 miles from my customer with no hope to get a permit until Tuesday(Monday being a state holiday) and possible delivery for Wed 17 Feb.

Sure seen plenty of trucks come and go ....... Guess I will spend my time watching the Olympics.

Drop the trailer and bobtail east to exit 18, take 79 to exit 41 racetrack road. Turn right. Go about 1/2 mile and turn left. Have fun at the casino.

Or head west back to WV and follow the signs for Wheeling Island. They have table games.

Seems to me there are already enough hands out looking to grab a hold of a driver's money. Then, you want him to leave it at a casino besides?????

This snow in the northeast is getting ridiculous now. Seems like it's snowing every other day now...

Windwalker, I didn't take his advise. But, it is getting old in this truckstop as it is going on day 6. Hoping to get that permit today thou the weather is not looking good.

Did see some of the figure skating today on TV. What fun!

I left the Claysville, PA Petro on Tuesday 16 Feb about 11am. Made my stop with the oversize pieces in Middle River, MD on Wednesday. I had a couple crates of glass on the step of my trailer that had to go into Baltimore the Ravens' stadium. There was so much snow still on the streets that most of the side streets were one lane. I had to maneuver around park cars and power company trucks to get to my customer's location. When I attempted to back into building, my steer tires were plowing snow and I could not straighten out the truck. After several attempts, the customer decided to offload me in the street.

The stadium parking lot directly across the street from the business was completely fill with dump truck loads of snow piled 5 and 6 feet high. It will be some time before that parking lot will be useable again.

710 w. ostend st, baltimore, md - Google Maps
