I'm on a bulk route with 7up my self, dock to dock. Show up to the customer, take the pallet off with a pallet jack, drop it, get the bills signed, and go to the next one. Its a sweet deal. The only down side is receivers can be rude, and here Farm Fresh supermarkets (supervalue corp.) makes me break down the pallets so they can see every bottle. But there is no merchandising, very little lifting if any. Just drive and back up. If you can get it, take it. You wont regret it !!

A friend of mine is a transport driver for Pepsi.
He told me, they want 5 years exp, no record ( driving or jail ) and you have to live within 30 miles from shop.

Now this is "his" place of employment, others may not be as stern.

He loves it, dock to dock and doesn't touch a can...

So what is the pay for this job? Sounds like a decent gig, though I've never noticed an advertisement for Pepsi in my area.
