I think I will go and take my tanker endorsement test on Monday. It is a good option that may be useful down the road. I will have to pickup hazmat later on down the road, but one at a time!

The questions are super easy too, it isn't hard. A lot of the endorsements only have a few questions too. I think doubles/triples is like 7-10 questions?
I didn't really study them before I took them. I did fail the hazmat endorsement test the first time because I missed some of the category numbers. Second time passed it no problem.

food grade tankers dont require hazmat, there are hundereds of products you can haul without one, but I would still recommend getting one

I'm curious as to why you are afraid of pulling a tank without baffles? Its kind of like the new drivers that only want to drive auto shift trucks. Don't be afraid of things you have never even done yet! In my opinion if you are afraid of some things in the trucking business, you should probably stay away. This is not an attack on you, but why let this scare you when many have learned and do it every day in different types of situations. If you want to haul tanks, learn it all, and be confident.
