For those of you that go into Canada....the large print edition does not have Canada in it. Only the regular and laminated MCA's have Canada in them.

As it gets closer to the new year, the price on the 07's will drop more.

I bought mine with "Pilot Points"..... 8)

Pilot in Midland, Tx had the 07 Rand McNally Motor Carrier Atlas for $4.99 with a $5.00 mail in rebate last week.

I'll wait a week or two and get an 08 since mine is about worn out

This is why I buy only month old newspapers. They are so much cheaper. Of course they are rarely intact and the news is old. But what really changes in the world or locally in only a month? I do miss out on sales occasionally, but what the hey, its not like I am a professional shopper. I do save a vast amount of money buying the old, discarded newspapers. Nothing like being a day late and I'm working on the dollar short.

Hey Terry...what does your paper say about the weather the last weekend in August?

I need to know if I should've washed my truck...

I started driving in the fall of 05. I went to a Pilot and was about to buy the latest laminated version, but couldn't part with the money!

I met a driver looking at the same, who said he could get them cheaper elsewhere, and was going to do so. He then offered to sell me his 04 LARGE print atlas for $10.

Knowing how little the roads change year to year, and how slow they are to update the atlas anyways, I jumped on it!

I'm STILL using it! The laminated versions, if they are not large print, are no better than the $5 versions! NOTHING beats a LARGE PRINT Atlas!
