Yup.

Wrong turns happen.

I once got in a real pickle last winter, on back roads in NH in the middle of a snow storm. Long story short, trying to get turned around on back roads of NH, resulting in me stopped at a dead end on a dirt road with no way to turn around. I got out, walked around, assessed things, and went for the only option available to me, which was backing the thing all the way down...veeery slowly. No accident report...no wrecker...no safety review...no blemished DAC report....much better in the long run!!!

As for that one...there just isn't an excuse for that crap. He dumped it off the road because he didn't follow his trailer in a turn...we've all been on roads that are that tight...it can be done...he just screwed it up!

If he was following his trailer, does it mean the tractor should have been behind pushing the trailer?

He didn't compensate for the off-tracking of the trailer in regards to the turn.

This Swift driver should get some sort of special recognition for driving over the most traffic cones in one day. By the way, it is not illegal for trucks to travel this road. Motorcyclist view it as their personal racetrack, but it is a public highway.
