You should be able to stand on your head for the length of your training. Unless the situation in intolerable, stick with it.

Trainer
When we train we train the student and the driver are up the same time
no teaming hear at all as a student not at all if caught you will be fired this is the way traing should be how can a person be trained when the trainer is in the bunk the trainer must log on duty not driving when the student is on duty driving and visa versa that is the eafe we we want our students to be trained.

same here at CRS. team from day one- 5500 miles first week,
I drove out of Atlanta first night- he was in sleeper within an hour on way to birmingham. His first comment on leaving atlanta- "you sure you've never done this before" ( i had'nt) This job is really not that hard- if you can put together to logical sentences in a row, your qualified to drive a truck( no offense to careers drivers) and i'm sure a trainer who came across someone who could'nt do that( most people on the internet are that savvy) would'nt let the person drive solo without being in the front- I'm sure that's why on this site we here all the same people have the same experience. Were all on the net, therefore , were all savvy!! ps- I don't think anyone got Hosed by a trainer making a phat paycheck on a good student- the trainee's mostly don't mind- i did'nt- i'm sure the trainer's out there must go thru some pretty crappy students also, which equals out- |
