Dennis,
Thanks for the honest reply, good luck in the future. I will admit I had one nasty trainer who smelt like crap and got pissed I wanted to shower. Good luck.

I drive Roehl Reefers. I had to unload one load of pizzas. Took two hours. Paid me a flat rate of $100. I am not displeased.

We recently were stuck in Wy from Friday night to Monday. We put in for Snow pay but haven't received it as of yet. I will be calling payroll on Monday. In snow pay the first 24 hours is on you.

Unless Roehl changed policy since June 2007, they don't have snow pay.

I still have my company policy book. It is pretty succinct.

No Snow Pay.

Hope you were stuck in area where you could have some cheap fun

They do offer snow pay. After the first 24 hours. For teams it's $85.00. I have to get my DRG out of the truck. I'll get it tomorrow. Too cold to go out now to get it. LOL

For your sake, I hope your right.

I know in my book it said No Snow Pay. I read it numerous times and just thought, these cheap b@st@rds. Might be something different for teams. I was solo.

If it is $85 for a team, that is further evidence of Roehls cheapness. $42.50 won't get you a dinner and a movie. Let's hope Rick forked over for the motel room!

No motel we were in the truck. If we wanted to go to a motel it was on us. In fact the TS we were sitting at lost power for 6 hours. So no food, showers or bathrooms for that period of time. We had no cell phone signal (nextel sucks) and no internet because of the power outage. I agree $85.00 for teams is rediculous.

MommaKay...Refer division may have different rules since you run into more lumper situations than regular van division. You also get more cents per mile driving refer. All I know is that I never got a dime for the load I had even though I put in for it.

hey denns, do you realize that most o/o companies ill not take you without experience. there are dispatchers everywhere, and there is bull shit everywhere. you need to learn to deal with that or you will never be happy. and the last time i heard the housing market was not too good, can't be too much money there and i am sure there is still some b/s and people to answer to...sellers and buyers. i hope you don't quit on them with no notice because you don't like the way they do things, sure won't sell any property doing that.
