I prefer Sirius myself. After having tried XM and Sirius, the programs that Sirius offers were just more enjoyable to me. However, I do think that XM's equipment is of better quality. I have just bought myself the Sportster 4 Replay, and no matter what I do, there is a hint of static. Before I got this "new technology" I was using a Wal-mart cheapo that gave me zero problems. *shrugs*

I myself have an XM Pioneer Inno and it is pretty sweet. I do like XM but want to buy a Sirius radio to see if it's better or not. If not I'll just give the Sirius radio to my wife I don't like the trucking channel on XM radio. The Truckin' Bozo is just that a truckin' bozo who has nothing constructive to say and is nothing but a complainer.

I have both, for now I keep XM in my cars and Sirius in my wifes car. I enjoy them both. But in the long run for my tastes, XM wins out. I feel the music on XM is better, I think the talk radio is better on XM. Im not a fan of Howard Stern. The fart jokes got old 10 years ago and listening to two lesbians make out on the radio just doesnt do anything for me. As far as NASCAR. It bores me on TV, it would be really boring for me on the radio. I do love NFL, but again, listening to it on the radio just doesnt work for me. It comes down to personal taste. You are always going to have people who love either one of them for any reason. Hell, they are so cheap, just do what I do and get both.

Rev those truck stop antennas you mentioned are they on quick release for us day cabbers? I see several on OTR tractors with a perm. mount on the mirror assembly but I need an easy off/ez on. Maybe pick one up and mod the thing to a vice grip somehow, thanks.
Rarely get into the truck stops these days, thanks for the suggestion, I go hit one next week.
