Schneider's School

Question Schneider's School

Has anyone recently done their schooling at Schneider and how did it go?? I was thinking of going this route for schooling and would like some opinions if anybody has any.

Go to www.pumpkindriver.com and ask there. That there is all Schneider all the time.

Hmmm.. As for as learning how to drive a truck... GREAT STUFF!! Hands down the best training but outside of that they put to much emphasis on stuff outside of driving a truck. Such as Mac 18, If you have the slightest problem sending a Mac 18 they will not pass you and will send you home. They are that strict about that...

But i went to the 7 Day course, it sounds like you could be going to the 14 day, but over it all good training on learning to drive a truck.. I'll Recommend the driving portion to anybody... outside of that all i'm going to say is GOOD LUCK!!! lol cause you going to need it

P.S. Go system!! unless you getting on a GRAVY non-wal mart account...

What's a Mac 18? Any relation to a Big Mac?

Last I heard Schneider was no longer taking students except on a very limited as needed basis.

Naw.. no relation.. A Mac 18 is where a schneider driver must inform his DBL/Dispatch when will he/her be ready to be assign to another load... it does pretty good for a dedicated account.. i heard its non existing to system drivers
