Default Start Swift on Monday.... couple quick questions

hey whats up? i start swift on monday and i have a couple questions. what do they ask you when u are there? i forget the information i put down on the application. thats mainly it. i just dont want to get sent home for forgeting what i wrote down over a year ago. do you think i can call them and ask what i put down? i belive they already verafied that i work where i put down. i just forget the dates. i read that swift sent someone home because they put down the wrong info and tmc said they couldent hire me because i put down the wrong info on my one job. the only other thing i am worried about is the work wellness test. i have been walking once a day till i leave so i think i will be fine with that tho. idk, i really need this job. any help would be great!

If you are going to orientation, then they have your info and I don't recall having to redo much. I was straight from CDL school so I didn't have to do as much paperwork as the rest. You will have a drug screen, as I know you are aware of, and the Workwell test isn't that bad and I am sure you'll do fine. You'll also have to pass a driving test unless you are straight from CDL school.

You'll do fine.

If you do have to take the test...relax as best you can. Look at it as a learning experience.

Everyone has to take the road test. It doesn't matter how much experience you have.

Write down and take with you your employment information:
Month, Day, Year (starting and ending) Name of the company and it's address supervisor's name and phone number

Write down and take with you your driving record information (wrecks, tickets, etc):
Month, Day, Year where and what happened.

Since your are not an experienced driver you will need at least 3 years back, be a good idea to be prepared with 10 years.

For any periods of unemployment you will need to have an explanation. Be a good idea to have a few non family members that can verify this and who will get a letter notarized and sent to swift.

Be a good idea to have your doctor's names, addresses and phone numbers just in case they require any kind of medical release form filled out.

In terms of the road test, when I went there were some that had to take it - others that didn't.

Keep in mind that the whole orientation, while at the term and hotel, is an interview. So if somebody says hey let's go get a beer or .... it would be best to say no thank you.

When terminal are you going to?

Not true. I did not have to take the driving test. I was 2 weeks out of CDL school and was not required to take the driving test.

then they skipped it with you. everybody, regardless of experience level, is required to take it.
