Default Training reimbursement

If I've been driving Class A vehicles for 20 years. But because I have never made my living doing exclusively OTR there are a couple of companys that I'm interested in that would require me to go through a training program. Sni is one of them. Personally I would like to go take any of their skills tests and start from there. I just can't imagine that any company would take an experienced driver and make them suffer along with aspiring drivers that may not have even shifted a manual transmission on a car let alone a tractor. Eventhough I already have a CDL is it possible to get reimbursement for training fees under the guise of "new Career training". Just curious?
