trip planning test

Great Advice i really had'nt thought of that ! I will include i my notes when i run my trips.

I don't mean to sound idiotic ,but do they have a guide for that or is it something you learn through the course of driving?

Yeah that just comes from doing it,I hate those days(and nights) when I look at the clock 100 times an hour trying to figure out if I am gonna make it in time or not.

del fedex 5601 holly st. commerce city, co. 053107 @2100
fuel stop is loves @ wichita falls, tx.
paid miles is 768 gps said 795

that is the run i will be doing next

why so low the Motor carriers atlas say 879 miles , witch is the shortest distance in miles from major city to city Dallas TX to Denver CO are they paying for empty miles ?

Is that because you have to run out of route to refuel ? Other wise your coming up 23% short on your mileage .

route is in TX I-820, I-35W, U-81, U-287, I-44, U-287, I-40, S-335, U-287,
in OK U-287
in CO U-287, I-70, I-270

the reason Motor carriers atlas say 879 miles is the route it is using is
TX I-820, I-35E, I-35,
OK I-35
KS I-35, I-70
CO I-70

sorry my apologizes forgot the fuel stop.all and all i got 798 miles

BTW no empty miles on this load as my last load was to this fedex 2hr ago
