Truck Driver Salary
I tired SalaryList.com and found some specific numbers, from $20K to $120K, my last one is $50K, but I am moving to New York, do you know the standard there?

I would think it would be as high as $50K but, then again it depend on on your experience. I have talked to some companies and if you are a new driver they would not assign you a northeast regional area until you had at least 6 months experience. I specifically asked that question to some companies because I am from NY, mainly the city area.

Truck driver salary depends on several factors.
The only time that region comes to play is when you do local or regional driving jobs -- but most of those don't come to brand new drivers. From what i've seen it usually takes at least 1 year OTR before they will look at you.

Driver Pay
First, drivers don't get a salary, they're paid either hourly or piece rate (cpm). Pay may also stagnate until the economy recovers since many owner-operators have thrown in the towel and trucking companies have down-sized or gone out of business. That means there're experienced drivers who may fill entry positions just to keepthe wolf from the door. BOL
