http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.d...WS01/307050024 Police said Sawley was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the tractor I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who dies because of stupidity. I feel more sorry for the other drivers who caught up in this accident

Dangerous ramps? I always  when I hear that. If the ramp is not flat smooth and 4 lanes wide does that make it "safe"? The moral of the story is, don't take ramps too fast and keep your head outta your butt and ramps are a lot safer. I too have little pity for supposed professionals who are "too cool" or too experienced to wear seatbelts. We have a bunch where I work.

I always here about "how much experience I have" from some BBR too. My response to them is "how much experience do you have being dead?"

I was coming south on I-71 thursday evening, and all the BBR's were yelling at me to get my 60mph a$$ of the road. I told em I was doing just fine with my speed..and if they didn't want to get hung up behind me while faster traffic was passing them...they should had their mouth's closed and their eyes open...If they had been paying attention to the road, instead of leaning on their door window yakking on their cell, they would have seen that they were gaining on me..and could have changed lanes, before getting stuck behind me.
Oh yeah....down past the scales south of Jeffersonville...3 of them BBR's was yakking with Troopers on the shoulder of the road....I changed lanes before I go to the first Patrol car. 8) Hang up your phone, close up your Laptop, get off your Qualcomm, turn off your TV and drive your truck..we will all be safer.

We have a dangerous ramp locally here that will bite you if you haven't been thru here before. When it was repaved a few years ago after we had 3 rollover's within a month, they did a piss poor job. The ramp has 2 spots that can pop the left front steer tire in nothing and it's a right hand turn on the exit ramp. The 2 spots are back to back of one another and right where a truck would normally enter the turn at. VDOT knows it's there but does not have the money to fix it.

I kinda agree with Fozzy. ALL ramps should be considered "dangerous" with the possibility of a rollover. If a "professional driver" doesn't have sense to slow down for 1/4 mile on a ramp, he needs to go back to school!
But, I am dismayed that anyone who CALLS himself a driver, could be so callous as to not CARE when a fellow driver dies in an accident. If you don't care about HIM, then you don't care about anyone but yourself, and I hope I am NEVER near you on the road! If drivers would CARE a bit more about others doing the same thing, the roads would be alot safer and friendlier! There is no proof that this driver would have survived if he was wearing his seatbelt. It was a stupid and tragic accident in which a man my own age DIED! He may have had children who will live without him now. Let's have a little RESPECT for the dead driver here! Anyone who "finds it hard to pity" this dead driver, is exhibiting "antisocial behaviour" and needs to get off the road! You disgrace the profession AND the human race! If you HAVE kids, the next time you tuck them in at night, I hope they laugh at you and say, "Daddy, if you DIE due to a lack of judgement, I'll say you DESERVED it! And I won't miss you ONE little bit!"
