Yeah Mutt, been to the new Petro (I think!) Very nice, lots of room and security guards on duty. I lived in Spokane for a while. Been in the Pacific Northwest for 20+ yrs. It is so sad to see the meteoric rise in crime and drugs etc. So I feel much better with some sort of security on duty. Truck stops need to take a proactive stance. Hell, I won't be going in to spend my money if I am afraid to leave my truck!
Be safe and have fun! Peace, Lala

Although I don't live in Spokane any more, I do miss that city. I don't think that the crime in Spokane is any worse than the crime in Seattle/Tacoma area. It's really unfortunate that PF, and CDA have had to suffer the same growing pains as other fast growing cities.

 if you make it inside those flying j s rob you good also.they were among the first to jack up fuel prices when they heard the news on 911. its easy to get robbed at flying j at fife wa.one of my co workers decided to skip fueling at goodyear across the street when they were walking up both sides of his trailer. i pulled in j store in my car to get a cb mike and an old white van parked behind me and a big white man got out and said he urgently needed a ride to the bus station because the bus leaves in 10 minutes.dont sit in your truck on a layover go have fun but dont be a victim.merry christmas and take care of each other :!:
