Update
In February I made a post inquiring about entering the industry. After four months I am a driver now and work for Millis Transfer. In my experience both the company and training program have been excellent. I have no complaints.
In comparison to my previous position as a manager, the hours are indeed long and it was hard being away from my family for six weeks during training. However, the freedom of being a driver is unmatched. I am comfortable with my choice. My wife has been wonderful through all of this and I would not have made it to this point without her. Anyhow I just wanted to update everybody and let them know that so far, things have worked out. BigDabble

Congratulations! So good to hear that you AND your wife are doing fine through this transition. BOL to both of you!

Congratulations! Sounds like you're another happy Millis driver. You might see me there sometime next year. Did you get in under the old training format, or the new one that costs you $20 a week for 100 weeks after you're hired? Just curious. Be safe out there...Dave
